Sealant is Used to Seal the Edges of the Mako Glass Polarised Lenses |
The edges of each Mako glass polarised lens have been specially sealed to help reduce the possibility of delamination of the polarising film. However, care is still required to prevent damage to the seal and to prevent moisture from entering the lens. This includes ensuring that the lenses are kept clean and dry and especially free from salt water residue by rinsing the lenses in clean freshwater and drying them thoroughly. The sunglasses should be kept in the case when not in use to prevent damage to the front or back surface of the lens that could allow moisture to enter the lenses such as chips, scratches etc.
