Thinner Glass Polarised Lenses
Most Mako glass polarised lenses, with the exception of the photochromatic lenses, are now thinner than standard glass polarised lenses giving the advantage of being 20% lighter weight.

Unfortunately this new thinner technology cannot be used for the photochromatic lenses because of the extra layers required in their production.

The 8 base decentred lenses will be 1.9 mm and the 6 base lenses will now be 1.8 mm.

Since the 6 base polarised lenses are not used in curved frames there is no need for them to be decentred.
